Muhammad Farouq (better known as Flava in the entertainment industry) is a renowned Malaysian sports and esports commentator and events host/emcee. He was the official world broadcast English commentator for Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, and Dream of Three Kingdoms 2 at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou, China. He is also the strategist and Head Judge for the Malaysia Esports Awards 2023 at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). In 2022, he served as the Assistant Team Manager for Team Malaysia (esports) at the 31st Southeast Asian Games Vietnam and he is the official delegate for Team Malaysia (esports) at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games Cambodia in 2023.
Beyond his hosting and casting duties, Flava has been a vocal advocate for fair treatment and transparency in the esports community. He frequently addresses critical issues such as contractual disputes and the need for better legal protections for players and talents.
