I began my journey as a makeup artist and designer, never imagining that one day, cosplay would become such a meaningful part of my life. When I stumbled upon a cosplay competition poster, something inside me sparked, I wanted to be part of that world. But my first competition wasn’t a success. It was disheartening, yet I held on to the dream. Then, in my second competition, I found myself among the winners.
Cosplay has taught me that setbacks are not the end but a stepping stone. I learned never to throw in the towel, because sometimes, the talents we never knew we had are just waiting for the right moment to shine. Through cosplay, I discovered a version of myself I never thought existed. It has shown me the beauty of growth, the patience in crafting something with my own hands, and the strength to accept criticism and use it to become better. More than just a hobby, cosplay has become a journey of self-discovery one that I cherish with all my heart.
