Join us for an electrifying cosplay runway competition celebrating performance, craftsmanship, and character presence on stage. Held in conjunction with the WCSMY 2026 National Championship, this competition invites Malaysian cosplayers to bring their best to the runway for a chance to shine in front of the community and esteemed judges — including guest star Inui Tatsumi from Japan!

Registration Period: Opens May 2025 and closes 15 August 2025 at 11:59 PM (GMT+8) — OR when 20 confirmed entries are received (whichever comes first).

Registration is based on first-come, first-served and quality of entry.
PRIZE POOL
Champion: RM1,200
1st Runner-up: RM600
2nd Runner-up: RM300
*Winners will be announced during the award ceremony on the same day. Presence near the stage is mandatory for prize claims.
📝 HOW TO JOIN
Eligibility: Open to Malaysian citizens and long-term visa holders, aged 16 and above.
Fee: RM50 per person (non-refundable). Includes full access to the WCSMY 2026 National Championship.

Submit: A completed registration form and photo of your cosplay character (for social media spotlight).
👗 What to Expect
CuxCu Cosplexion is a runway-style competition with a focus on presentation, posing, and live performance.
Competition Flow:

Contestants arrive in full costume and check in by 11:00 AM.

Short briefing at 11:30 AM.

Each contestant will perform a:

360° pose for close-up judging

Three-character poses (1 minute total)
-
Q&A segment (2 minutes)

Total time on stage: 3 minutes per contestant.
Music is provided. No personal tracks needed.
Props are welcome (max 3 stage props, unlimited handheld). Helpers may assist only offstage.
📊 Judging Criteria
Scoring is based on a 100-point system:

Costume (50 points): Craftsmanship, accuracy, visual impact

Performance (50 points): Stage presence, character portrayal, audience engagement
🧵 Costume & Prop Guidelines
Originality Required: No reuse of costumes that have won previous cosplay competitions.
Themes: Characters from anime, games, comics, and more are welcome (no offensive content).
Size & Safety: Costumes must allow for free movement and comply with safety checks.
Weapons Policy: Props must be non-functional, non-metal, blunt, and pass inspection during rehearsals.
