COMPETITION RULES – OPEN TO ALL STATES    

• • Participants must register before qualifying their for entry.
  • Must be living in Malaysia and have done their 2 doses of Vaccinations + booster shot with MySejahtera verification.
  • We will be accepting applications between 24/08/2022 and 30/09/2022 11:59PM.
  • Participants must be registered for NOiZUCON 2022 to qualify for this competition. 
  • Only 1 winner per prize.
  • This competition is limited to the theme** Game & VTuber Characters ONLY.
    • The cosplay are only allowed to be SOLO only.
    • Photos that are altered by Photoshop are not allowed; CG is not allowed either. Only basic Lightroom processing is allowed.
    • This competition is only open till 40 entries.
    • Shall there be more than 40 entries, we will filter all the application once more and our judges will select the 40 entries which showcases the best entry and quality.
  • Wrong submissions will NOT be entertained.
  • Strictly NO NSFW content.
  • Must be living in Malaysia. (according to SOP) and have done their 2 doses of Vaccinations
  • Those who are under 18 must have parental approval.
  • Costumes can be self-made or purchased

PRE – RUNWAY

• • • On the 15th of October 2022 ( Saturday ), contestants are required to register at the information booth upon arrival.
    • Registration booth will be open at 10.00 am.
    • Only solo entrees are allowed.
    • Contestants are needed to be present at the venue at 10.00 am for a short briefing.
    • Please be ready in your full costume and make up upon arriving at the venue.
    • Contestants are required to Cosplay the series which they had registered. No last minute changes are allowed once the entry is closed. Choose your character wisely.
    • The Emcee will announce each Contestant’s name and their Character/Series upon the start of the respective contestant’s turn.

DURING RUNWAY

• • • 1 min 5 poses on stage
    • 4 mins of Q&A
    • Total 5 mins on stage per person
    • Contestants are NOT required to present their runway songs or audio. NOiZU will prepare the official song during your runway.
    • Helpers are NOT allowed on stage during the runway.
      (Helpers are only allowed to carry the contestant’s stage prop for set up).
    • Stage props are limited to 3 props only. But, handheld props have no limits.
    • No Liquids, flammable, confetti or sharp materials and objects allowed during runway.

• • All contestants will be judged by NOiZU’s selected judges on 15/10/2022, late comers will be disqualified.
  • Winners will be announced and are required to be present On Ground, in the Ballroom on 15/10/2022 for the award ceremony.
  • Judges decisions are final.
  • Late responses will NOT be entertained and prize will automatically be forfeited.
  • Winner Prize will be given on spot, only winners can claim their prize. 3RD PARTY representatives will NOT be accepted.
  • By entering this contest, NOiZU has permission to post your submission on our socials with credit to you, the creator.
