Noizu

Built by fans,
for fans.

Noizu is Malaysia's home for cosplay, anime, gaming, and pop culture. What started as a 200-person gaming meetup in 2017 has grown into a movement — connecting thousands of passionate fans across the country every year.

More than a convention.
A community.

Through NoizuCon — our flagship annual convention — we create a space where cosplayers compete on the world stage, artists showcase their craft, bands perform live orchestral rock, and fans connect over shared passions. From the World Cosplay Summit Malaysia to Raja Farouk Live, every moment is designed to celebrate the culture we love.

Beyond the convention floor, noizu.asia keeps the community alive 365 days a year with news, event coverage, cosplay spotlights, and guides written by fans who live and breathe pop culture.

We are powered by Thinkbig Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian company with deep roots in events, digital media, and community building — from serverDNA to NoizuCon, we've been shaping youth culture since 2017.

What drives us

Community First

Every decision starts with our fans. Cosplayers, artists, gamers, streamers, anime lovers — you are Noizu.

Future-Focused

We don't follow trends — we set them. From serverDNA to NoizuCon, every chapter pushes the boundaries of what youth culture events can be.

Malaysian Pride

We champion local creators, cosplayers, and content makers. The Malaysian voice deserves a global stage — and we're building it.

Our journey

2017

2018

MainFrame I & serverDNA 3

Launched MainFrame, an exclusive 3-day residential event for 50 streamers in Rawang. serverDNA 3 introduced the Mousepad Party and hit 1,100 attendees.

2019

serverDNA 4 — The Breakthrough

6,000 attendees at Le Meridien Putrajaya. Partnered with Predator League and hosted the first World Cosplay Summit Malaysia. A defining milestone.

2020

serverDNA ReachOut & Going Online

Took the tour nationwide — Alor Setar, Penang, Kuantan, Kota Bharu — before the pandemic cut us short. Pivoted online with serverDNA 5, hitting 800K views and launching four YouTube shows.

2021

serverDNA 6 — The Return

Back on the ground with a hybrid event. Debuted Raja Farouk Live (RFL) and the Angels Maid Cafe, proving we could evolve through adversity.

2022

2023

7,000 attendees at KL Convention Hall. International guests, the WCS MY 2024 National Championship (selecting Malaysia's WCS 2024 representatives), RFL Orchestra on a purpose-built stage, and the debut of VOICES. Also launched the WCS MY Roundtable — strengthening Malaysia's competitive cosplay community.

2024

NoizuCon 2024 & WCS MY 2025 Championship

6,700 attendees across 3 days at Multimedia University. Featured RFL Orchestra, WCS MY 2025 National Championship (crowning Malaysia's WCS 2025 representatives), Nakayi Cycling Competition, Brightstar IT Fair, and RM250K in giveaways. 2025

WCSMY Summit & NoizuCon re:Imagined

WCSMY Summit 2025 brought 55 participants from Malaysia and the Philippines to Shah Alam for 3 days of workshops, panels, and Lou Sang celebrations. WCS MY 2026 National Championship crowned new champions. NoizuCon re:Imagined reimagined the convention experience at PJPAC with The Odyssey networking dinner, The Mentor workshops, VOICES #3 Band Edition, and the WCS MY Watch Party.

2026
